The following opportunities are opportunities for you to respond to God’s call in baptism for a life of vocation in service. Please fill out the form to get more information about how you can be a blessing to others here at St. James.

EVENTS

Christmas Festival

Saturday and Sunday helpers needed to supervise crafts, wrap gifts and help children shop.

Block Party

Set-up and clean-up help needed. Held on the first Sunday after Labor Day.

Oktoberfest

Beer and brats for all! Help with set-up and clean-up.

Project Renewal

Host disabled adults for worship, lunch and Bible study.

Easter Breakfast

Help with breakfast prep the Saturday before Easter.

Graduation Fellowship Hosts

Provide and host fellowship following graduation.

Marathon Station Hosts

Cheer on runners at the St. James Marathon station (Sedgwick/Dickens).

Harvest Fest

Supervise craft stations and welcome neighbors.

Christmas Sanctuary Decorating

Gather the Saturday following Thanksgiving to decorate the sanctuary for Christmas.

Stewardship Luncheon Hosts

Set-up and clean-up three Stewardship luncheons.

Baccalaureate Fellowship Hosts

Provide and host fellowship following the Baccalaureate Worship service.

WORSHIP

Men's Chorus

Men’s Choir meets twice a month for fellowship and devotion. They bring their musical skills to worship about once every month.

Sunday Team Leaders

Facilitate guest services for orderly worship.

Women's Choir

The Women’s Choir sings regularly at St. James and on festival Sundays. Under the direction of Megan Sleezer they help support the public worship service.

Bell Choir

Bell Choir provides a joyful sound to our worship services throughout the year. Men and women are welcome to join us and use their talents in service to God.

Serving the congregation by organizing events specifically addressing women’s interests and needs.

Reformation 500 Steering Committee

Work with the Senior Pastor to develop a plan for St. James’ celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation in 2017-2018.

Phase of Life Ministry Coordinator

Help the Senior Pastor identify and organize phase of life events for the community.

Small Group Coordinator

Help the Senior Pastor organize and communicate the development of small group ministry.
